The mission of Annie Bell Stevens Foundation is to strengthen individuals, children and families experiencing financial hardship by providing compassionate support, responsible and accessible accessible assistance that promotes stable housing, essential household utilities, affordable childcare, educational opportunities and positive recreational experiences for children and youth.
Through direct assistance, scholarships, community partnerships and family centered programs, the foundation seeks to remove immediate financial barriers while helping families establish stronger foundations for. their futures.
ABS Program for Assistance
The Annie Bell Stevens Foundation envisions communities where financial hardship doe not automatically result in homelessness, utility disconnection, loss in employment, lack of childcare, missed educational opportunities, or the exclusion of children from meaningful developmental opportunities.
We envision families having access to the resources necessary to remain stable while working toward greater economic independence.
Housing Preservation ASSISTANCE Program
The Housing Preservation Program will provide limited financial assistance to eligible individuals and families who are at risk for losing safe and affordable housing because of financial hardship.
Potential Assistance:

EMERRGENCY UTILITY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
The Emergency Utility Assistance Program will help eligible households facing the loss of essential utility services because of financial hardship.
Priority may be given to households that have received a disconnection notice or are experiencing circumstance that could jeopardize the health or safety of household members.

Childcare Stability Program
The Childcare Stability Program will provide childcare subsidies for eligible parents and caregivers experiencing financial hardship.

Recreational Development Assistance
The Children and Youth Recreation and Enrichment Program (Ages 2-17). Financial hardship should not prevent children from having access to healthy structured, educational and socially enriching experiences.
The Foundation will support recreational and developmental opportunities for children between the ages of 2 to 17.
